10-Yard Fight '85 is the revision Irem made two years after its original 10-Yard Fight, one of the first American football video games in arcades. It keeps the side view and the classic 'hut' call to start each play, but tunes speed and handling to make it snappier than its predecessor.
Today it's mostly interesting as an archaeological piece: it's one of the first attempts to translate American football's offensive strategy into arcade format, well before series like Tecmo Bowl set the genre's standard. Worth trying to understand where board-level sports games came from.
