Abscam takes Pac-Man's skeleton and dresses it up with an unusual premise: the player controls a corrupt senator — a direct reference to the real Abscam scandal, the FBI's undercover operation from the late seventies — running through a maze collecting cash while dodging federal cars. The power-ups, renamed "influence," temporarily turn the pursuers into bags of money.
It's a piece from the wild era of unauthorized Pac-Man reconversions, when small studios exploited the same hardware to sell their own themed variants without a Namco license. Today it's played more as a curiosity from arcade publishing history than as a must-play experience.
