Alligator Hunt was developed by Spain's Gaelco in 1994 and stands out in the horizontal shooter catalog for its aim control: instead of pointing only forward, the weapon rotates 360 degrees around the character, forcing players to rethink how they approach every wave of crocodiles, hostile tribes, and jungle bosses. It's more a platform shooter than a classic shoot 'em up, with jumps and climbs woven into the gunfire.
It remains one of the most remembered pieces of Gaelco's 90s catalog, appreciated mostly for that aiming system that sets it apart from the avalanche of military-themed run and guns of the era.
