Botanic puts the player in the role of a creature hidden in the foliage that must eat green leaves to survive and reach a house at the end of each screen, dodging spiders and other insects, with the final reward of transforming into a butterfly. It was published by Valadon Automation, a firm known for other maze titles of the era, around 1983-84. It's a minor game within the early-80s maze genre, with a visual premise —the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly— uncommon for the war or space themes that dominated much of the catalog of those years.
