Buster Bros. (Pang! in Europe and Japan) is the 1989 Capcom arcade game where one or two players travel through platform levels shooting harpoons to pop giant bubbles that, upon bursting, split into smaller and smaller bubbles, until eliminated entirely. Its simple but demanding design made it an instant arcade classic. It's one of the most beloved cooperative arcade games of the late 80s, and it's still tremendously playable today thanks to how direct its premise is: easy to understand, hard to master in the advanced levels.
