Catacomb is an arcade production from the medium's earliest years, of which a version circulates with color issues known to preservationists, hence the 'Bad Colours' clarification in its name: a reminder of how fragile the preservation of software from such old boards can be. The game's structure points to the underground mazes and caves typical of the era. Above all, it's a case study in preservation: it shows the detective work needed to rescue pieces of arcade history when not even a perfect copy of the original survives.
