Complex X belongs to that huge group of arcade boards that circulated with limited distribution and that today only appear in specialized preservation databases, without press coverage from the era or extensive player accounts. Its name suggests a science-fiction or technological-maze setting, consistent with much of its generation's arcade production. Like so many minor titles, it's worth it mainly as a piece of a bigger puzzle: reconstructing, board by board, everything that was played in arcades beyond the big hits that did remain in collective memory.
