Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2003 Super Plus alternate [Bootleg]

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2003 is one of the many bootlegs that emerged in China in the early 2000s, taking the code of a successful SNK fighting game —in this case The King of Fighters 2001— and changing its name, screens, and the odd cosmetic detail to sell it as an apparently new product, capitalizing on the fame of Ang Lee's identically named film with no real relation to it. This 'Super Plus alternate' variant is just one of several revisions that circulated of the same bootleg.

It adds nothing to KOF 2001's design beyond the makeup: it's a typical example of how the fighting-board pirate market operated in Southeast Asia, repackaging SNK titles under unrelated labels to dodge royalties.
