Dragon World 3 continues IGS's series of tile puzzles: the goal is to clear the board by forming sets of three identical pieces that disappear when matched, with the dragon and oriental-creature aesthetic that gives the saga its name. It came out in 1998 on the PGM (Polygon Master) board, the proprietary hardware IGS developed to compete in the late-90s Asian market. It's representative of the Taiwanese arcade industry of those years, focused on quick-to-learn tile puzzles with a strong presence in East Asian arcades, a business segment little known outside that region.
