Far East of Eden - Kabuki Klash (known in Japan as Tengai Makyou - Shin Den) is a Neo Geo fighting game released in 1995, a spin-off of Hudson Soft's acclaimed Japanese RPG series Tengai Makyou, with characters and setting taken directly from that fantastical saga set in pseudo-historical Japan. It's a rarity much appreciated by connoisseurs: few fighting spin-offs managed to translate an RPG saga's identity so well into a one-on-one combat format, with a memorable cast and moves loaded with references to the original work.
