Bop'n Wrestle (1986) brought wrestling to the micro ring with an isometric view and a repertoire of real holds: suplex, piledriver and the classic corner-rope punishment. Developed by Australia's Beam Software and published by Mindscape, it was one of the first to take grappling seriously... so to speak.
Against rivals with neighborhood-gym names, the game is pure timing and move memorization. A direct forerunner of all the digital wrestling that followed.
