Chip's Challenge is one of the Atari Lynx's launch titles, developed by Chuck Sommerville for Epyx in 1989. It tasks players with working through a series of maze-like levels, collecting computer chips while solving puzzles built around keys, sliding blocks, and traps, all against a ticking clock.
Though it's remembered today mostly for its hugely popular later Windows version, bundled on the Microsoft Entertainment Pack CDs, its roots lie in the Lynx, where it served as an early demonstration that the handheld could also house dense, cerebral puzzle design.
