Crystal Castles brings Atari's original arcade game to the 2600: Bentley Bear the bear explores castles shown in isometric perspective, collecting gems while dodging enemies like the Gem Eaters and the witch Berthilda, in one of the most ambitious and beloved designs in the company's arcade catalog. The home version inevitably simplifies that perspective due to the console's limitations, but keeps the exploration-and-collection spirit of the original. It remains one of the most fondly remembered games in the Atari 2600's late library, partly because of how uncommon its isometric perspective was on a console dominated by side and top-down views.
