Dragon's Lair for the Atari Lynx is an adaptation of Don Bluth's classic laserdisc animation arcade, but rebuilt as a conventional action-platformer due to the cartridge format's storage limitations, far removed from the original's gigabytes of video.
Published by Atari Corp near the end of the Lynx's commercial life, it keeps the name and imagery of the knight Dirk facing traps and creatures, though its gameplay strays quite far from the audiovisual experience that made the original arcade legendary.
