Flashback - The Quest for Identity is the Atari Jaguar port of the cinematic-platformer classic developed by Delphine Software and originally published by U.S. Gold in 1992, adapted for the 64-bit console shortly after. It follows Conrad, a scientist who wakes up with no memory on a hostile planet, through a science-fiction story told with rotoscope animation.
It's one of the finest examples of the cinematic-platformer genre —alongside Prince of Persia or Another World— and its arrival on the Jaguar let players enjoy that fluid animation and suspenseful atmosphere at the highest graphical resolution the console had to offer.
