Scrapyard Dog is a platform game for the Atari Lynx published by Atari Corp, in which the player controls a dog roaming a scrapyard, gathering valuable items while dodging hazards and enemies.
It's one of the original platformers — no license attached — that helped define the Lynx catalog's own identity against the far more numerous crop of arcade conversions and movie tie-ins.
