Tower Toppler is the Atari Lynx adaptation of the platform-puzzle classic originally created by John M. Phillips for Hewson Consultants, known in Europe as Nebulus, in which the player must climb a series of cylindrical towers rising out of the sea, circling them in a spiral while dodging traps and enemies.
Its rotating camera perspective around the tower was one of the most original visual solutions in the platformer genre of the late '80s, and its arrival on the Lynx confirmed the lasting prestige of the original design.
