40 Winks offers a classic 3D platformer set inside two siblings' dreams, with themed levels ranging from pirates to dinosaurs and the colorful aesthetic typical of the genre in this generation. It was developed by British studio Eurocom, which touched several different genres on N64 around that time.
It went fairly unnoticed next to giants like Banjo-Kazooie or Donkey Kong 64, but for anyone looking for lesser-known platformers from the era, it has its charms: well-built levels and a likable premise that's still enjoyable today.
