Banjo to Kazooie no Daibouken 2 is the Japanese name for Banjo-Tooie, the second adventure of the bear and bird created by Rare, published in 2000. The game drastically expanded the scale of the original: larger, interconnected worlds, more combined moves between Banjo and Kazooie, and a structure that pushed players to revisit already-explored areas with new abilities, a design that anticipated ideas that would later become common in the genre.
Along with the first Banjo-Kazooie, it's one of the pillars of 3D collect-a-thon platforming in the N64 era, and it's still cited as one of Rare's best works on the console. More than two decades later, it remains a required reference for understanding the design of open-world platformers of that generation.
