Quest 64, developed by Imagineer, has young mage Brian travel through the kingdom of Celtland searching for his missing father, mastering magic of the four elements in turn-based battles, with a system that completely dispenses with money and the genre's traditional experience points. In Japan it came out as Eltale Monsters, and in Europe as Holy Magic Century.
For better and worse, it's one of the few classic role-playing representatives the console had during its Western launch, and although critics of the time noted its lack of depth, it remains a required stop for any genre fan wanting to complete N64's catalog.
