A European tie-in based on the Asterix characters created by Goscinny and Uderzo, with platforming action alternating between Asterix and Obelix to clear levels and hand out slaps to the Roman legions, in a comedic key faithful to the spirit of the comics. It's one more of the many licensed video games starring the famous Gaulish village, aimed at a European family audience; its interest today is mostly the affection for the characters.
