Countdown brings to DS the mechanic that made the Channel 4 program famous: forming the longest possible word from a random set of letters and solving math operations with chosen numbers to reach a target, against the clock as in the original show. It's a faithful adaptation of a game show format with more than forty years of history in the United Kingdom, designed for the audience that follows the program and wants to practice those same word and number mechanics in portable format.
