Death Jr. and the Science Fair of Doom continues the adventures of Death Jr., the son of the Grim Reaper himself, in this DS entry within a saga that combined gothic aesthetics and dark humor with fairly conventional action platforming. Here the plot revolves around a science fair spiraling out of control.
It's an example of the taste for the 'sinister but friendly' that a certain teen audience had in the mid-2000s, though it never achieved great commercial or critical impact.
