A-Train 6 continues Artdink's formula of blending railway management with urban development: the player lays out routes, speculates on land, and watches the city grow around its stations. It's a slow-paced economic simulation, built for long sessions and mid-term planning.
It never had the Western reach of other simulators of the time, but for those who enjoy urban management it's a faithful entry in a series with over three decades of history. Its arrival in Europe made it accessible to an audience that normally only knew it by name.
