Like the rest of the series Artdink has been refining since the '80s, it has you build and manage a train network alongside the urban and real-estate development of the area it crosses, in a hybrid between management sim and economic strategy aimed at a Japanese audience fond of this kind of niche simulator. Like much of the series, it never released outside Japan.
For anyone today looking for something different from PS2's standard action, it's an interesting rarity: a patient, technical simulation, far removed from any cinematic ambition.
