Aliens versus Predator: Extinction brings the license of the two sci-fi franchises to a real-time strategy game, with three playable factions and distinct mechanics for each: the Aliens grow by infesting the map, the Predators hunt individually, and the Marines depend on squad coordination.
It's a rarity within the console catalog, a genre that was far scarcer there than on PC, and for that very reason it remains a point of interest for anyone wanting to see how real-time strategy was worked out with a joystick.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
