Angelique Étoile belongs to Koei's long-running otome franchise born in 1994, originally aimed at a female audience: it blends nurturing and management simulation with romance, with the player managing 'guardian stars' and cultivating bonds with a cast of suitors on her path to the cosmic throne.
Like almost the entire series, it stayed confined to the Japanese market; today it's of interest mostly to those following Koei's tradition of romance-and-nurturing simulators, a genre with very scarce Western presence in those years.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
