Boku no Natsuyasumi 2 - Umi no Bouken-hen continues Millennium Kitchen and Kaz Ayabe's proposal of recreating, with a very Japanese nostalgia, the summer vacations of childhood: exploring, collecting insects, fishing, and living with a host family, this time in a coastal village. It's one of the most beloved series of the "iyashikei" (healing) genre within Japan.
It never left its home market, which made it a coveted rarity in the West, but its influence is felt in several later games that tried to capture that same feeling of frozen time and eternal summer.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
