Bokujou Monogatari - Heart ni Hi o Tsukete followed the formula that made the series popular: inheriting an abandoned farm, tilling the land, raising animals, befriending the village, and, with luck, finding a partner, all at the unhurried season-by-season pace that characterizes Marvelous's saga. This PS2 installment brought that proven formula to the console's hardware. For those looking for the origin of a genre that today has dozens of heirs, it remains a useful reference point, though it stayed exclusively in Japanese.
