Animal Soccer World swaps flesh-and-blood footballers for a roster of anthropomorphic animals, betting on simplified, humorous arcade soccer aimed at a family and children's audience. It's a modest European title that sought to stand out from serious sports licenses with a look closer to cartoons.
It doesn't compete in depth with the console's big soccer franchises, but it fulfills its role as a light game to play in a group or with kids. Today it's a charming curiosity from PS2's more eccentric sports catalog.
