Developed by SIE Japan Studio, Ape Escape 3 revisits the formula that made the series unique: chasing monkeys with gadgets controlled by both controller sticks, in themed levels full of humor and parodies of PlayStation's own catalog. It's the most polished close to the numbered trilogy on PS2.
Along with the first Ape Escape, it remains the franchise's essential reference: agile platforming, fresh design ideas, and that controller use which felt pioneering at the time. For anyone seeking PS2 platformers with a personality of their own, it's a must-stop.
