Appleseed EX accompanied the release of the 2004 computer-animated film directed by Shinji Aramaki, set in the utopian yet oppressive city of Olympus created by Masamune Shirow. The game puts the player through shooting and melee combat centered on protagonist Deunan Knute.
It's a niche product made to accompany the film release, of interest today mostly to those following Shirow's work beyond Ghost in the Shell.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
