Armored Core: Formula Front, developed by From Software, trades direct mecha control for a strategy-focused approach: the player designs the chassis, the equipment, and programs the AI behavior that will fight on its own in automated battles, similar in spirit to PC robot-programming games.
It's a curious offshoot within the Armored Core series, made for those who enjoy the engineering and fine-tuning side more than direct combat, and it remained an almost Japan-exclusive piece.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
