Army Men - Air Attack - Blade's Revenge continues the Army Men series, the franchise that turned classic green plastic toy soldiers into a scaled-down toy war, this time centered on aerial combat with toy helicopters and planes over household settings like yards and gardens. It's part of the branch of vehicular spin-offs the brand tried in the 2000s.
It survives today as a relic of a franchise that had its moment of glory in the late '90s and gradually faded through increasingly modest sequels; interesting mostly for those collecting the full series rather than for anyone looking for a memorable aerial shooter.
