Developed by Humongous Entertainment, it offers an accessible, colorful baseball made for a young audience, with fictional characters of exaggerated features building their own neighborhood teams instead of real MLB franchises. It was part of the Backyard Sports line, one of the studio's longest-running bets on bringing American sports closer to kids.
Its simplified gameplay and lighthearted tone made it a friendly alternative to the more arid sports simulators of PS2's adult catalog.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
