Backyard Basketball is part of the Backyard Sports series, made for a young audience: cartoonishly proportioned characters, simplified rules, and the option to build teams with fictional neighborhood kids alongside a real NBA star as a bonus.
It's a game explicitly built to bring the genre closer to younger players, without the learning curve of the era's serious sports simulations.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
