Backyard Football '08 continues the sports series made for a young audience, with cartoonish player rosters and simplified American football rules, ideal for anyone just approaching the sport without the complexity of a simulator like Madden. It's part of a long-running franchise that also covered baseball and basketball under the same formula.
It delivers well on its goal: it's accessible, colorful, and made to be played as a family, with no pretension of competing with the same console's serious sports simulators.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
