The Baseball 2003: Battle Ball Park Sengen is an entry in the Perfect Play Pro Yakyuu line, Japanese baseball simulators licensed with Nippon Professional Baseball teams, updated stats, and an approach closer to simulation than arcade.
Like almost all Japanese licensed baseball production of the PS2 era, it never left its home market, but it documents well how popular the genre was in Japan, comparable to what football represented in Europe or basketball in the United States.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
