Bass Master Fishing offered a relaxed fishing experience, with different lakes, lures, and casting techniques designed to replicate the patience of the real sport. Like much of the fishing games of the PS2 era, it aimed at a specific audience of black bass enthusiasts rather than competing for the average player's attention.
It's a typical example of a sports subgenre that had its moment of popularity on the console, backed by real tournament licenses and fishing-gear brands that gave the pitch authenticity.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
