Blood Will Tell - Tezuka Osamu's Dororo adapted the manga Dororo, the story of Hyakkimaru, a warrior who had parts of his body torn away by 48 demons at birth, and who travels across Japan killing them one by one to recover them, accompanied by the young thief Dororo. Development was handled by Red Entertainment, with an action and body-part-based combat style faithful to the spirit of the original.
Although it didn't achieve the impact of other manga adaptations of the PS2 era, it earned a place as one of the few playable versions faithful to the work of Tezuka, the 'god of manga,' years before Dororo returned to fame with its 2019 animated remake.
