Developed by Terminal Reality and published by Majesco in 2002, BloodRayne follows Rayne, a dhampir working for a vampire-hunting organization, in a visceral action campaign with blades and blood-draining powers against Nazi experiments.
Its exploitation tone, its protagonist, and its Gothic aesthetic gave it an identity of its own within PS2's action genre, to the point of spawning sequels and even a film adaptation.
