BloodRayne 2 brings back Rayne, the half-human, half-vampire creation of Terminal Reality, on a new hunt against the plans of her own father, the vampire Kagan, this time with a cast of villains tied to experiments and occultism. Combat combines firearms, blades, and vampiric abilities like blood draining to heal mid-fight.
The saga earned a cult following for its playfully Gothic aesthetic and its self-aware B-movie tone, and this second installment is remembered as the culmination of that formula before the franchise changed hands.
