Developed by Hudson Soft, it moves away from the classic maze-explosion formula to offer an amusement park packed with minigames, themed worlds, and a light adventure thread connecting each attraction, in line with other spin-offs of the series like Bomberman Party. It's a title designed for the Japanese family audience, with Bomberman as the host of a minigame festival rather than as an action protagonist.
Like much of the Land sub-series, it remained within the Japanese market, appreciated mainly by those who enjoy Hudson's mascot's more playful and less competitive side.
