Bust-A-Bloc follows the traditional falling-block puzzle formula: pieces that fall and must be arranged to complete lines before the screen fills up, with difficulty increasing as the match progresses. It's a direct representative of a genre PS2 hosted in dozens of variants, almost always low-budget.
It doesn't innovate on the formula Tetris established, but it fulfills its function as a quick puzzle for short sessions.
