Cabela's Big Game Hunter is one more installment of the extensive hunting saga backed by Cabela's, the American outdoor-activities goods chain, with various big-game species -deer, elk, bears- spread across North American settings and an approach oriented toward the real sport-hunting enthusiast audience. The saga worked almost as its own genre within the sixth generation's sports catalog.
It remains a niche product strongly marked by its American target audience; today it mainly interests those documenting the era's phenomenon of licensed hunting simulators.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
