Cabela's Deer Hunt - 2005 Season is part of the extensive line of Cabela's-branded hunting simulators, oriented toward recreating the experience of stalking and hunting deer across various North American terrains, with attention to animal behavior and the use of real hunting gear. It was one of many annual releases of the franchise during the PS2 era.
It's a very clearly defined niche product, designed for the sport-hunting enthusiast audience rather than the general player, and today it functions mainly as a testament to a genre -hunting simulation- that had its own stable commercial circuit for years.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
