Chess Challenger offers chess matches against the machine or between two players, with different AI difficulty levels as the main challenge variable. It doesn't seek to innovate on chess's presentation, but rather offer a functional, accessible version of the board game.
It's one of the many utilitarian titles that populated PS2's European catalog for specific audiences. It fulfills its function without surprises, as befits a board game faithfully transferred to the screen.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
