Cue Academy offers the most popular cue sport variants - British snooker, American pool, and classic billiards - with carefully crafted physics and various practice and tournament modes. It's representative of European, especially British, taste for this kind of simulator.
With no ambition beyond offering a good tabletop simulator, it serves its purpose well for genre enthusiasts. It's a sober alternative to the more arcade-style billiards versions that also circulated on PS2.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
