Daisenryaku is one of Japan's longest-running turn-based military strategy sagas, with entries dedicated to different historical fronts of World War II. This edition centers on the Pacific War, taking its subtitle from the famous phrase associated with the attack on Pearl Harbor, and has you manage naval, air, and land units on a large-scale strategic board.
It's a game made for the hardcore military strategy enthusiast, without translation outside Japan, heir to a tradition of PC wargames ported to console that took root far more in the Japanese market than in the Western one.
