Developed by Volatile Games and published by Namco in 2002, Dead to Rights follows Jack Slate, an investigator seeking to avenge his father with the help of Shadow, his trained dog, combining slow-motion shootouts with hand-to-hand disarming of armed rivals.
Its noir comic-book aesthetic and stylized violence made it a modest but well-remembered benchmark of PS2's police action genre.
